What you must do during Open Enrollment

You must take action and enroll if you want to contribute to:

  • A Health Savings Account (HSA) beginning with your first paycheck in 2024; and/or
  • A Flexible Spending Account (Dependent Care and Health Care FSA) in 2024

Your other current benefits elections (such as medical, dental, vision, etc.) will automatically carry over into 2024.

What you can only do during Open Enrollment

  • Enroll, change or cancel your benefits coverage(s)
  • Add or remove dependents from your current plans

What you can do any time during the year

  • Enroll, change or stop your HSA contributions
  • Enroll, change or stop your commuter benefits (pre-tax parking and transit) contributions
  • Enroll, change or stop your 401(k) Plan contributions

Medical Plan Costs

The costs of our medical plans are increasing. We worked hard to keep rates flat in 2023; however, due to a continuing trend of rising health care costs, the amount you pay for medical plan coverage in 2024 will increase. For over 65% of current medical plan enrollees, the increase will be less than $10 per paycheck. This means that Inovalon will continue to pay the majority of the plan’s total cost, keeping the impact on employee premiums to a minimum.

Dental and Vision Plan Costs

The amount you pay each paycheck for dental and vision coverage will increase slightly (less than $3 per paycheck).

Voluntary Life Insurance Rates

Voluntary life insurance rates are decreasing. This means the amount you pay for employee life, spouse life and child life in 2024 will be less.

Early next year, Inovalon will be conducting a dependent audit of our benefit plans to confirm that only eligible dependents are enrolled. All associates who cover one or more dependents under medical, dental, or vision will be required to provide proof of dependent relationship for each family member covered (i.e. marriage certificate, tax documentation, birth certificate, etc).

Open Enrollment is your opportunity to review and remove any ineligible dependents from your benefit coverage(s). Any dependents removed during Open Enrollment will continue to be enrolled in your benefit coverages through December 31, 2023. Open Enrollment is your only opportunity prior to the start of the audit to remove any dependents who do not meet the definition of an eligible dependent. View the Eligibility section on the Eligibility & Enrollment page to learn more.

Required Documentation

Now is the time to begin gathering your documentation in preparation for the dependent audit. All associates who cover one or more dependents under medical, dental, or vision will be required to provide proof of dependent relationship for each family member covered (i.e. marriage certificate, tax documentation, birth certificate, etc). Review the list of Required Documentation for Dependent Verification now and start collecting the documentation for your dependent(s). View the Verification Documents tab on the Eligibility & Enrollment page to learn more.

For frequently asked questions regarding the benefit plan dependent audit, view the Dependent Audit FAQs tab on the Eligibility & Enrollment page.

Quantum Health

Quantum Health will continue to be your one-stop-shop to help you find the care you need and answer your questions about your health care. You can access Quantum Health Care Coordinators who can help explain complex clinical care management procedures, connect you to the proper care, pre-certify care when required, understand your bills and more! You can call Quantum at 1-866-885-1125 whenever you have a question or concern related to your medical or prescription drug benefits.

If you are currently enrolled in a medical or dental plan, you will not receive new ID cards unless you change plans. You will not receive a new health savings account (HSA) debit card for 2024 unless you enroll in the medical high deductible health plan (HDHP) for the first time.

There will be no changes to the medical, dental and vision plan deductibles, copays or out-of-pocket maximums. Allegiance, Delta Dental and VSP will continue to be the medical, dental and vision plan providers respectively.
