Early next year, Inovalon will be conducting a dependent audit of our benefit plans to confirm that only eligible dependents are enrolled. All associates who cover one or more dependents under medical, dental, or vision will be required to provide proof of dependent relationship for each family member covered (i.e. marriage certificate, tax documentation, birth certificate, etc).

Open Enrollment is your opportunity to review and remove any ineligible dependents from your benefit coverage(s). Any dependents removed during Open Enrollment will continue to be enrolled in your benefit coverages through December 31, 2023. Open Enrollment is your only opportunity prior to the start of the audit to remove any dependents who do not meet the definition of an eligible dependent. Required Documentation

Now is the time to begin gathering your documentation in preparation for the dependent audit. All associates who cover one or more dependents under medical, dental, or vision will be required to provide proof of dependent relationship for each family member covered (i.e. marriage certificate, tax documentation, birth certificate, etc).
