Your other current benefits elections (such as medical, dental, vision, etc.) will automatically carry over into 2022.

  • A new, enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP): We have partnered with BHS to provide enhanced EAP services to include up to five free mental wellbeing counseling sessions, access to attorneys and financial consultants for legal and financial related questions, a comprehensive resource and referral service for help with locating child or elder care and a “concierge” service that can help you find concert tickets, moving resources, and more – all at no cost to you.
  • An Adoption Assistance Benefit: This program will reimburse eligible adoption-related expenses up to a maximum of $5,000. Refer to the Adoption Assistance Program policy available in the Policy Center on 1/1/2022.
  • Pet Benefits which include discounts on veterinary care and prescription medication, pet products and pet telehealth services will be available through Pet Benefit Solutions.
  • For the past two years, Inovalon has been able to keep the amount employees pay for medical coverage relatively unchanged. For 2022, the amount you pay each paycheck for medical plan coverage will increase. This increase is largely related to medical inflation. For over 50% of current medical plan enrollees, the increase will be approximately $7 or less per paycheck. Click here to view the 2022 biweekly employee payroll contributions.
  • The amount you pay each paycheck for dental coverage will increase slightly (approximately $0.16 – $0.56 per paycheck). Click here to view the 2022 biweekly employee payroll contributions.
  • For 2022, the maximum amount1 the IRS permits you to contribute to an HSA is increasing from $3,600 to $3,650 (employee only coverage) or from $7,200 to $7,300 (employee + dependent(s) coverage). These limits include the amount that Inovalon contributes to your HSA. Click here for information on Inovalon’s annual employer contribution to your HSA.
  • Fertility benefits within the medical plans are being enhanced. In order to help all medical plan members build their families, the medical diagnosis criteria for infertility coverage is being waived.

1. Employees age 55 or older can contribute an additional “$1,000” in catch-up contributions.

  • There will be no changes to the medical, dental and vision plan deductibles, copays or out-of-pocket maximums. Cigna, Delta Dental and VSP will continue to be the medical, dental and vision plan providers respectively.
  • If you are currently enrolled in a medical plan and/or dental plan, you will not receive new ID cards unless you change medical plans. If you change medical plans, a new medical plan ID card will be mailed to you by January 1, 2022.
  • If you are enrolled in the medical plan with an HSA or a flexible spending account (FSA), you may continue to use your current debit card(s) in 2022. You will not receive a new HSA debit card(s) for 2022. The amount you pay each paycheck for all other benefits (voluntary life, spouse life, etc.) is not changing.
  • The following benefits will continue to be 100% paid by Inovalon: basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, employee assistance program (EAP), Health Advocate, short-term disability (STD) and basic long-term disability (LTD) coverage.
